Word Vomit

Wow, it's been over a month since I've written here. This has been a crazy month. Life just took me on another tailspin but I think i'm okay now.... or not.... but either way, I've got a kid and husband to keep me pressing on. I feel like I have a good understanding of my life, then something happens, and then everything starts to bubble over out of my comfort zone. Thanks to the people in my life, the clean up is not hard. My sister sent me flowers the other day. I broke into tears as I read the card, but then laughed at the end cause the signature read "Love, Ganzulu". It was suppose to say "Gan-zuzu", which is Isagani's nickname. I guess the florist took it upon herself to correct what she thought was a typo. It's these episodes of comic relief that let me know that things will always be okay.

I'm so thankful to have such a healthy, and crazy daughter. Everything about her trips me out. She has her papa's dare devil nature. Let me give you examples:

-She can hop on a swing (the regular swing) and start pumping her legs so that she swings high all by herself. It scares me to watch her cause she looks like she can fly off any second.

-She will stand on her papa's back when he lies down on his stomach. Then he'll move around all crazy and she's litterally surfing on his back. Then when she falls off, she cracks up and says "Again!"

-Her teacher at preschool has to watch her go down the slide cause she tried to slide down while lying down on her back...... head first.

Then there are things about her that puzzle me:

-Her voice sounds like an old lady who's been smoking for about 50 years.

-She first learned to shake her booty at 8 months old.

-She eats lemoncito's by the wedge.

She surley makes my life interesting. At this very moment she is pulling my hand to put on Wiggles for her...again.... I love this kid......

My Bomb-ass Dad!

I'm so proud of my dadda! When we use to work together, he made this chair out of foam for fun. The president of the company absolutely loved it and was willing to do anything to get this out on the market. It's been about 6 years of re-designing, testing, adding features, taking out features, etc. ..... and now he's has a whole array of childrens furniture.
Now, his furniture is being sold on www.babyage.com ! Please visit the site, and when you get there, type in "foamables" in the search area. This picture is just one of the items he made.
This is such a big deal! I'm so excited for him mostly because it's not just an "idea" anymore, it's actually "real" now and on the market.
So, you people who are reading this (which is only about 3 of you, no joke) tell your friends, families, co-workers, and pets to check out the products!

A Toddlers World

My life has been taken over by three things..... Dora the Explorer, Elmo, and The Wiggles. Watching these show has actually made my life feel less stressed. It may be because they're upbeat shows that make me feel like a kid again. Okay, I'll be honest, I'm less stressed cause the shows take Lee lai's attention away from me. I don't just plop her in front of the TV, we actually listen to a lot of music, and read books. But guess what the music and books are about? I'll give you 3 guesses! I swear sometimes I have dreams about Jeff sleeping under la luna with Mr. Noodles.
Lee lai is an undercover knower of colors now. She had a cup of froot loops in the car, and I heard her name each color that she was putting in her mouth. I flipped down my rear view mirror to see if she was naming them correctly and she was! Then when we got home, I took each froot loop and started to ask her what color each one was... and to my surprise, each froot loop turned pink according to my mini genius.
