My life has been taken over by three things..... Dora the Explorer, Elmo, and The Wiggles. Watching these show has actually made my life feel less stressed. It may be because they're upbeat shows that make me feel like a kid again. Okay, I'll be honest, I'm less stressed cause the shows take Lee lai's attention away from me. I don't just plop her in front of the TV, we actually listen to a lot of music, and read books. But guess what the music and books are about? I'll give you 3 guesses! I swear sometimes I have dreams about Jeff sleeping under la luna with Mr. Noodles.
Lee lai is an undercover knower of colors now. She had a cup of froot loops in the car, and I heard her name each color that she was putting in her mouth. I flipped down my rear view mirror to see if she was naming them correctly and she was! Then when we got home, I took each froot loop and started to ask her what color each one was... and to my surprise, each froot loop turned pink according to my mini genius.

OMIGOD! You took my next blog right out of my mind!! We're watching Dora as I write this... it is wonderful to find something that takes their full attention for at least 5 seconds (before it lands smack back down on you). Leelai is so grown now! Color-knowin' little toddler that she is. =)
